The holiday season is under way and 5.30 am starts are fairly normal for me during the summer. With the number of miles I sometimes have to cover there is no way to avoid the early starts. However, the upside is that the roads are empty which can significantly reduce my travelling time and stress levels! The roads can be a nightmare during the summer and I would much rather beat the rush hour rather than sit in a traffic jam. It also means I’m less likely to be late to a customer – not a good start to the day!
Catch the Sunrise
An early start also has the added benefit of catching the fantastic sunrises such as this one at Newton Tracey. Our beautiful county has some of the best scenery and you can’t beat Devon on the dawn of a new day. Take a look at our Gallery to see more photos of Devon and Cornwall.
