The overrun is the business end of the caravan. It contains the damper, the hitch, handbrake and the jockey wheel clamp. I can only assume the caravan must have hit a significant pothole to cause this kind of damage as shown in the pictures. The two bolts that run through the overrun were fractured, as was the bracing bracket. The customer wasn’t even aware of the damage.
New overrun and bracing bracket fitted. The caravan now safe to tow again.
